Books by Gregory V. Diehl
My non-fiction work addresses aspects of self-actualization and self-expression that are frequently not talked about in sufficient depth. My upcoming work includes a book about suicidal ideation derived from ideological causes (working title: Courage to Live) and a book about how good people surrender to their negative emotions and become the worst version of themselves, particularly as displayed in the central plot of the Star Wars movies (working title: Turning to the Dark Side).
In bigger news, I have started writing my first novel: a science fiction story that addresses one possible interpretation of the Fermi Paradox and the realistic nature of vastly older and more advanced forms of life in the universe, containing themes of grand cosmic hope to counter the cosmic horror and cosmic nihilism that have become popular in recent times as an overarching philosophical lens for our place in the universe. Working title: Hierarchy of Will.

The Romantic Ideal—The Highest Standard of Romance for a Man
A profound exploration of the masculine experience of living as a hopeless romantic in a largely unromantic world. It's educative and inspiring for men and women alike seeking to embody the highest possible standard of romance, including all aspects of intimacy, sex, and love.
"Diehl's prose is incisive, his anecdotes poignant, and his conclusions polarizing. Yet, his work resonates because it dares to ask: What is love if not the ultimate journey toward self-actualization, guided by the light of another?"
